Project Description

224 East 59th Street is a mixed-use property in the Midtown East neighborhood of New York City. The property is home to Katagiri, the oldest Japanese grocery store in the US, established in 1907 in the building. The community staple store stayed open and served New Yorkers through the COVID-19 pandemic.

The neighborhood serves as a popular hub for jobs, dining, shopping and entertainment, with great connectivity to all modes of transportation and a 15-minute walk to Central Park.
